Centralised Dispensing Production Manager

Runcorn

40 hours per week

Flexible working pattern supporting a 16-hour operational window across two shifts Competitive salary and bonus package

We're looking for a Centralised Dispensing Production Manager to come join us, based at Runcorn. In this role you will lead the safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery of centralised dispensing operations, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and outstanding service for retail pharmacy customers.

The heart of the role

• Lead and develop Centralised Dispensing Site Operations Managers, ensuring delivery of service, quality, people and financial objectives.
• Own operational strategy, budgets and performance objectives across the Centralised Dispensing estate.
• Drive the Continuous Improvement strategy, embedding Lean, Kaizen, problem-solving and visual management techniques throughout the operation.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, quality, governance and regulatory compliance across all sites.
• Work collaboratively with Retail Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain and Pharmacy teams to improve service levels, quality and customer outcomes.

• Significant operational leadership experience within a production, logistics, healthcare or manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable operational performance improvements.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• A commitment to patient safety, quality standards and operational compliance.
• Pharmacy, healthcare or other regulated industry experience is desirable.
• Lean Practitioner, Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
