Assembly Team Leader

Location: Royston, Hertfordshire

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum + Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00am - 16:00pm

Job Tenure: Permanent

Roles / Responsibilities

• Lead a hands on assembly team on the shop floor, keeping work flowing and supporting the crew
• Allocate daily tasks, train new starters and keep a team of 5 to 10 running smoothly
• Keep standards high with safety checks, quality checks and clear reporting
• Jump into practical assembly work, including fitting insulation to large metal units
• Drive improvements, update SOPs and help make the workshop run better every day

About You

• Confident working with numbers, measurements and practical problem solving
• Brings solid manufacturing and assembly experience, ideally with larger components
• Experienced training and supporting teams, especially new and temporary staff
• Physically capable and fully authorised to work in the UK with no sponsorship needed
