Role Overview

Irish Life Health is seeking to appoint a Product Support Specialist who will report to the Product Manager and operate as a key member of the Product & Pricing Team.

Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day product management process and help lead on Product MI, insight and tracking.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions to ensure systems are fully prepared and enabled for any required product changes.
  • Work closely with the Proposition Development team and liaise with Operations, IT and Compliance to support new product development and to ensure that Irish Life Health effectively manages and supports product design and delivery across the full product lifecycle.
What you will help us to achieve
  • Lead the Product Team in implementing new product and benefit changes to meet ILH's business goals
  • Support the Product Team's objectives by working directly with key stakeholders (E.g. Operations, IT, Compliance, Propositions, Marketing etc.) from across the business to enable the successful delivery of BAU product and change requirements
  • Test and review both system and literature changes across the full suite of Product literature
  • Manage the team mailbox, directing queries from the business and escalating where required
  • Ensure compliance with Risk, Compliance and Audit requirements
What you will need to be successful in the role

The ideal candidate would have:

  • 3rd level qualification or related discipline is desirable
  • Ideally APA in Private Medical Insurance or working towards it
  • Product knowledge and understanding of the health insurance market and regulatory environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to digest large volumes of detailed information
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to deliver to tight timelines
  • Good interpersonal and relationship management skills, with experience of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Good commercial awareness
