Product Owner Healthcare/5 months+/Netherlands & Remote

We are looking for 2 Product Owner, who can support the delivery of national healthcare digitalization initiatives by defining and managing business requirements for medication exchange and pharmacy monitoring solutions. Act as the key interface between government stakeholders, healthcare providers, and development teams to ensure regulatory compliance and successful product delivery.

Tasks

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for healthcare digitalization projects.
- Define and prioritize product backlogs, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with government authorities, healthcare providers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure solutions comply with Dutch healthcare regulations and program requirements.
- Support testing, stakeholder communication, and product roll-out activities.

Skills

- 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner.
- Experience as Business Analyst.
- Strong experience in healthcare IT, preferably within GP (Primary Care) or Pharmacy Information Systems (PHIS/AIS).
- Knowledge of Dutch healthcare regulations and digital healthcare initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, requirements engineering, and communication skills.
- Native/fluent-level Dutch and fluent English.

- Start: Mid-August 2026 (before 1 September 2026)
- Duration: Until end of 2026 (extension possible)
- Workload: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Location: 3 days/week onsite in Echt (NL), 2 days/week remote; monthly presence required in Utrecht
- Language: Dutch (native/proficient), English
