PRODUCT OWNER

Nexeo Belgium is looking for an Agile Product Owner

to join a major player in the banking and financial sector.

As part of an Agile delivery team, you will:

• Represent stakeholders and the voice of the customer throughout the development lifecycle
• Build and maintain the product vision and roadmap in collaboration with business and IT
• Define and prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize value delivery
• Ensure alignment across stakeholders and drive functional clarity for the development team
• Translate business needs into actionable user stories and functional specifications
• Lead iteration planning and backlog refinement sessions
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and guide sprint deliveries
• Monitor product progress, quality, and consistency
• Support decision-making on functional trade-offs and priorities
• Foster an Agile mindset across the team and organization

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Product Owner in an Agile environment
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
• Experience in project and budget management
• Good understanding of the banking or financial sector (strong asset)
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Quality-driven and detail-oriented
• Collaborative, open to change, and focused on delivering value

Work location:

Hybrid model: 50% on-site / 50% homeworking - Brussels area
