About the Role

We're searching for an exceptionalProduct Marketing Directorto define, elevate and champion thecross-functionalgo-to-marketstrategy behind Zilch's most innovative product experiences. Reporting to our VP of Growth Marketing,you'lldrive cross functional teams to deliver against product adoption, utilisation & retention KPIs, and relevant commercial outcomes.You'lllead the chargeonhigh-profile launchesandcontinuous optimisation,shaping how millions of customers discover,understandand fall in love with our products.

Day to Day Responsibilities.

Own and articulate the product marketing vision and strategythat spans all product & marketing customertouchpoints,inspiringcross-functional teams around a clear, compelling narrative

Develop the product value proposition architecture alongside product& marketingleadership,leveraginganalytical and strategic skills to define positioning across the customer lifecycle

Continuously monitor and evaluate competitor launches and market shifts to understand opportunities and risk, distilling insights into actionable recommendations that shape long-term product and commercial strategy

DeliverProduct &Commercial Outcomes

Drive cross functional teams to deliver against product adoption, utilisation & retention KPIs, and relevant commercial outcomes

Use data to align cross functional teams to prioritise their collective efforts to maximise commercial value

Go-To-Market Leadership

Lead end-to-end GTM strategy and execution for new product features and experiences,collating input from respective functional leads(marketing, product & data stakeholders)to deliver high-impact launches aligned to business priorities

Establish and manage strong cross-functional teams around shared objectives, facilitating discussions to ensure launches are cohesive, high-impact, customer-centric

Oversee continuous optimisation initiatives to drive measurable improvements in adoption, usagefrequencyand retention across both new and established products,that drive improved commercial outcomes

Translate performance signals and complex data into clear commercial insights and recommendations that inform strategic decision-making

Implementscalable, repeatable GTM and optimisation frameworks that accelerate speed-to-impact,improveexecutionquality,and enable sustained performance across future launches

Develop a deep, expert-level understanding ofcustomersmotivations, behaviours, frictionpointsand unmet needs,combining both quantitative and qualitative insightsto informcustomer segmentation strategythroughoutthe entire lifecycle, and serves as the foundation for the business' product marketing strategy

Ensure insights directly shape product relevance, valuepropositionsand messaging, driving decisions that align with broader business and strategicobjectives.

Unified CustomerMessaging Hierarchy & Journey

Working with Marketing & Product leadership, build a data-led approach tooptimise the messaging hierarchy forpriority customer segments, tocommunicate therightmessage, at the right time,in the right location,to the right customer, that maximises commercial outcomes

Ensurecustomerjourneysareunified acrossallmarketing & product touch points for a seamless customer experience

Cross-Functional Leadership

Act as the strategic glue between product, marketing and commercial teams, ensuring alignment and championing a customer-led mindset. Build and maintain trusted cross-functional partnerships, aligning diverse teams around shared objectives to drive cohesion, collaboration, and business impact

Collaborate withmarketing,product, design, engineering, data, finance,salesand risk, to alignobjectivesand initiatives which deliver customer and merchant outcomes that drive business growth

What we're Looking for

Proven experience in product marketing within complex, consumer-facing businesses, ideally with multi-feature or multi-product environments

Deepexpertiseindata-drivencustomer segmentation, product positioning, messaging and incentivisation strategies, applied to inform product and commercial decision-making

A proactive, inquisitive andcommercially-savvyproblem solver,using data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions in ambiguous situations

Exceptional communication skillsto simplify complex or highly technical topics and influence senior stakeholders

Highproficiencywith analytical and productivity tools including Microsoft Office and Looker Studio (with hands-on Looker Explore experience),using data to inform strategic recommendations and measure outcomes

Demonstrated leadership ability-experienced in coaching, inspiring and elevating cross-functional teams

Desirable: Experience in consumer financial services; SQL to dive beyond Looker Exploreto analyse complex datasets and inform strategicinsights
