In this role, you will shape and deliver a unique, competitive product offer that genuinely improves life at home for our customers. You will lead cross functional experts to create solutions that support Kingfisher's purpose: Better Homes, Better Lives, For Everyone. By understanding real customer needs and market opportunities, you will bring commercially successful products from concept to store.
Responsibilities- Lead a cross functional team - including design, engineering, buying, quality, brand and packaging - to develop outstanding product ranges.
- Build a competitive and customer focused offer aligned with Kingfisher's business strategy and commercial goals.
- Identify new product development opportunities using customer insights, market analysis and category direction.
- Guide internal and external designers through clear briefs to create strong product concepts.
- Manage the full product development and commercialisation process, taking approved concepts through to store launch.
- Stay closely connected with related categories to meet customers' broader home improvement needs.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across design, engineering, buying and commercial teams. Take accountability for sales and margin performance across the category
- Strong experience in offer analysis, including understanding customer needs, market trends and competitor activity
- Commercial acumen with the ability to identify category opportunities and make informed, customer driven decisions.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships and work collaborative relationships and work effectively across design, engineering, buying and commercial teams.
- Experience leading change, navigating ambiguity and delivering clear outcomes at pace.
