Summary
Our team actively drives the further development of our sensors & meters product portfolio and leads the products throughout their entire lifecycle. As a Product Engineer, you will own the full journey of a product: from the first requirement on paper to the moment it ships and beyond. You will shape what we build, why we build it, and how it reaches the market while working at the intersection of technology, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. If you bring deep technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and the drive to turn complex challenges into elegant solutions, this role was made for you.
What You'll Do
Responsibility for requirements management, including collection, documentation, and maintenance of product requirements and specifications
Manage complex workflows and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure efficient collaboration.
Role as technical expert for defined parts of the product portfolio with a focus on further development and optimization of the product range.
Contribution to product strategy through market, competition and feasibility analyses as well as the development of robust product concepts
Close cooperation with product owners in the stage-gate process for the development of innovative products
Management of product design and quality activities, including FMEA, verification, validation, certification and post-product launch measures
Support of the entire product life cycle from industrialization to production transfer to the planned product release
Who You Are
University degree in physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Several years of experience in product development for hardware-based or physical measurement products, ideally with strong expertise in the field of sensors and measurement technology.
Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with various departments is required for this role.
Compelling communication, good teamwork skills and enthusiasm as well as the ability to motivate others.
Strong analytical thinking, a structured working style, and excellent problem-solving skills.
