Product Data Analyst

We're working with an innovative platform in the job search industry, used by millions to connect employers and job seekers. We're seeking a Product Data Analyst who wants to have a real impact on how our product evolves. Your mission will be to support the product team in making better, data-informed decisions, from analyzing user behavior and validating hypotheses to running A/B tests and turning results into actionable insights.
You'll collaborate cross-functionally with developers, designers, product managers, and other analysts, and contribute to key initiatives such as recommendation systems, search optimization, monetization, and marketing performance.
What you'll do:
- Collect and structure data from various internal sources.
- Ensure data quality and help define/improve data pipelines.
- Analyze user behavior and identify opportunities to improve the product.
- Support product teams throughout the full feature lifecycle: hypothesis, implementation, tracking, and measurement.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests.
- Translate business questions into clear, actionable analysis.
- Contribute to the evolution of our data infrastructure and analytics practices.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, ideally in product-focused environments.
- Strong SQL skills to work directly with databases.
- Practical experience with Python (or R) for data processing and analysis.
- Ability to turn data into insights and insights into business recommendations.
- Solid understanding of key product and marketing metrics: MAU, retention, LTV, CAC, etc.
- Good grasp of statistics and experimental design (e.g., A/B testing).
- Ability to visualize and communicate data effectively (experience with BI tools like Tableau is a plus).
Bonus points for:
- Hands-on experience with data infrastructure tools (e.g., Redshift, Airflow, AWS).
- Real interest or experience in Machine Learning, even self-taught.
- Familiarity with mobile app tracking and analytics.
