At Zopa, analysts are the people that inspire ideas and strategies to drive our business forward and make our products better for customers.

Our analysts are a mix of creative problem solvers and number whizzes with a passion for translating numbers into business opportunities and delivering insights to drive decision-making. They're also strong communicators with the ability to story-tell with data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Our analysts are deeply embedded into the business and will interact with individuals at all levels of the business from Managers to our leadership team.

We are currently looking for a Product Analyst to join our growing team. Your role is to be the key person generating the insight that helps us to develop exciting new products as well as improve, and, scale our existing products!


A day in the life
  • Generating key insight from our vast data warehouse and helping our product managers drive product development.
  • Pairing with product managers to define how we will measure success of new features, including designing and implementing A:B tests in live customer journeys.
  • Modelling and forecasting the impact of changes that you are driving.
  • Taking on ownership of analytical projects and identifying new and exciting opportunities through your analysis.
  • Monitoring key metrics to understand how the product is performing to and presenting this to product managers and senior stakeholders regularly.
  • Working collaboratively with product managers, software engineers, designers and our credit/commercial analysts to get to the best solution.
About you
  • Experience working in a data-led, fast paced environment (e.g. consulting, banking, start-up) would be an advantage.
  • You have experience working in cross-functional teams with many skillsets coming together to make amazing products - or a demonstrable aptitude.
  • You have a quantitative background, and you are a natural at turning data into insight to make decisions. Ideally with a background in SQL (or related language) - or you are ready to learn it fast!
  • You have some experience in using Tableau or other BI tools, e.g. Looker, Power BI.
  • You take ownership and are a self-starter - you know when to ask for support and you're not shy about doing so.
  • You enjoy working closely with stakeholders;you are eager to both understand their needs and also to act as a thought partner and offer guidance and expertise.
  • You're always on the lookout for new learning opportunities and strive to be on the cutting edge.

We're on the move!

Towards the end of 2025 Zopa will be relocating to a brand-new headquarters at 20 Water Street in Canary Wharf. The 44,000 square foot workspace will foster collaboration and inspire creativity for our 900 employees amidst our 2025 growth blitz.

We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance. This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week.

You'll also have the option of working from abroad for up to 120 days a year! But no matter where you are, we'll make sure you've got everything you need to thrive, both in your work and home life, from day one.
