Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically inclined Implementation Specialist with an accounting background to join our Product team. This role supports client onboarding, especially when complexities arise related to integrations, data handling, tax rules, charging tax at checkout, and nuanced tax registrations.
You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of our solution, helping shape the future of our platform as we deliver the most advanced and user-friendly sales tax product globally.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Onboarding: Support new client onboarding by addressing integration complexities and ensuring accurate, timely data onboarding into our platform.
2. Technical Integration: Collaborate with clients and internal technical teams to integrate and configure e-commerce platforms, payment systems, and accounting systems.
3. Product and Process Improvement: Provide feedback based on client interactions to support new feature development, improve existing functionality, and enhance onboarding processes.
4. Technical Support: Assist in handling technical support tickets and resolving issues during or after onboarding.

Essential Qualifications

• Big 4 or BDO and GT Newly qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, CPA) or similar, ideally within one year post-qualification.
• Excellent academic record in school and university.
• Strong interest in technology applications.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the confidence to develop and implement projects and workload independently.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and client-focused.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc.) and online payment gateways.
• Experience or exposure to tax compliance tools and software.
• Understanding of international indirect tax frameworks (Sales tax, VAT, GST).
