Job Description
Main Purpose of the Role

Responsible for supporting procurement activities with a focus on metrics-driven performance management. Ensures procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals. Monitors supplier performance, procurement KPIs, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do
  • Procurement Metrics Oversight: Tracks and reports on procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, delivery timelines, and compliance rates.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyzes procurement data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement. Prepares dashboards and reports for management review.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Supports the evaluation of supplier performance using defined metrics. Assists in developing scorecards and conducting periodic reviews.
  • Process Compliance & Audit Support: Ensures procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. Supports audits by providing accurate and timely data.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participates in initiatives to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness through metric-driven insights.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Works with internal teams to understand procurement needs and align metrics with business objectives.
  • System & Record Maintenance: Maintains accurate records of procurement activities, including metrics tracking, supplier evaluations, and cost analyses.
  • Support for Strategic Projects: Assists in strategic sourcing and cost-saving projects by providing data and metric-based insights.
What You Bring
  • Education/Experience: NFQ Level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline and 4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical/Business Knowledge: Working knowledge of procurement systems, data analysis tools, and business practices. Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory environments.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and make recommendations based on metrics.
