Procurement Manager - Corporate Services

We're looking for a highly capable and commercially minded Procurement Manager to join our growing Procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in DCC's sourcing transformation, delivering strategic and tactical procurement activity that directly supports our mission to build a smarter, greener energy system for Britain.

How you will contribute to transforming energy and shaping the future

• Lead and deliver sourcing activity across assigned categories and projects using strategic sourcing, negotiation and benchmarking techniques
• Support DCC Directors and Executives in shaping and implementing procurement strategies for projects ranging up to £100m+
• Develop and implement supplier contracts that meet key commercial and contractual requirements
• Provide expert procurement insight across areas such as Telecoms, Technology & IT, Security, Outsourcing, Innovation or Professional Services
• Support DCC's sustainability agenda through sourcing aligned to Net Zero goals

Your skills that will enable us to fulfil our purpose

• Extensive sourcing experience with a track record of delivering commercial value
• Strong negotiation, dispute resolution and supplier management skills
• Analytical capability, including market analysis, spend analysis and evaluating commercial responses
• Ability to work cross functionally and influence stakeholders across a complex environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, aligned to DCC's values of Make a Difference, Act with Integrity, and Be Accountable
