About The Role

Purpose

This exciting role supports the ECB's procurement strategy. It is a proactive, stakeholder-facing position responsible for sourcing activities and projects aligned with category plans and organizational strategy. You will play a key role in developing and promoting the Procurement function across ECB and the wider cricket network, supporting the Head of Procurement with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procurement processes are well understood and integrated.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of internal requirements and external suppliers, including costs and market conditions.
  • Support the implementation of EDI and sustainable procurement strategies.
  • Manage regular progress meetings with functional areas to track activities, milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Maintain the supply chain analytical tools.
  • Consolidate the supplier portfolio.
  • Prepare project documentation, including procurement documents such as NDAs and ITTs.
  • Create category analyses for specific spend categories and vendors.
  • Assist the Head of Procurement with daily activities.
  • Monitor data management to ensure accurate product, contract, and cost-saving records.

About You

  • Experience in procurement and data management.
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and leverage effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end procurement cycle, value chain, and cost breakdowns, with the ability to initiate cost-saving opportunities.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPS accreditation or working towards qualification (desirable).
