Job Description
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise cost efficiency and supplier performance.
  • Work alongside public and private sector clients in supporting their procurement needs.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiate contracts to ensure quality and value for the organisation.
  • Manage supplier relationships, addressing any issues and ensuring compliance with agreements.
  • Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
  • Support the development of sustainable procurement practices where applicable.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Consultant should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the professional services and or public sector industry.
  • Understanding of public sector regulations and practices is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision making.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Knowledge of market trends and best practices in procurement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
  • A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
