We are looking for a Procurement Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to start a career in procurement.
The Procurement Apprentice will support the Procurement team in delivering effective supplier management, cost efficiencies, and improved procurement processes.
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement while completing a relevant apprenticeship programme to build the skills necessary for a successful career in procurement.
As the Procurement Apprentice, you will:
Assist with supplier onboarding, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Support the Procurement Manager in sourcing activities, including gathering supplier quotes and comparing options.
Maintain and update procurement records and supplier databases with accuracy.
Collaborate with the finance team to track purchase orders and ensure timely processing.
Help monitor supplier performance through data analysis and feedback collection.
Assist with Kaplan's sustainability objectives and reporting.
Participate in team meetings to contribute to discussions on process improvement.
Engage in formal training sessions as part of your apprenticeship, applying learnings to your daily tasks.

What you'll bring to the role
The successful candidate will bring:
A commitment to completing a Level 3 or Level 4 Procurement and Supply Chain apprenticeship.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Confidence in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A passion for sustainability and an understanding of its importance in procurement (desirable).
