Process Technician (Night Shift Weekend Nights Role) - Galway, Ireland

• Saturday - 23:00 - 11:00
• 39 hour contract : remaining hours 17 to be made up during the week.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Support: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and elevate complex problems to Engineering or Maintenance teams when necessary.
• Yield Management: Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to investigate and resolve scrap and yield issues related to equipment and processes.
• Team Collaboration: Work as part of a close knit team of approximately six Technicians and Production Core Teams across 3-4 key processes.
• System Utilisation: Record maintenance activities in internal systems, use PowerPoint for yield updates, and manage handovers via Teams and Excel.
• Database Interaction: Utilise SQL databases (training provided) to interact with equipment data and optimise performance.
• Commitment to Safety and Quality: Execute all tasks with the highest regard for safety standards and quality protocols.
• Essential Skills and Attributes
  • Strong problem solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with electrical or mechanical troubleshooting is highly advantageous.
  • A team player with effective communication skills.
  • Comfortable with learning new systems and tools; SQL training will be provided.
