The Integrated Financial Crime (IFC) portfolio is a comprehensive programme aimed at creating an effective Financial Crime environment through over 20 Delivery Vehicles. It focuses on risk management, automation, skills development, and awareness-raising among partners, colleagues, and customers.
As part of the Strategic Transformation & Change Team within IFC, your role as Process Architecture - Financial Crime SME will report to the Process Architecture Lead. You will be part of a team of four SMEs working across multiple Delivery Vehicles.
Candidate Requirements- Experienced Financial Crime SME with background in 2LoD (Compliance Department or Financial Crime) or 1LoD within a regulated global financial institution.
- Knowledgeable about the regulatory landscape and experienced in a global regulated organization.
- Proficient in two or more of the following: Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing, Fraud, Bribery & Corruption, Insider Trading, Cybercrime, Sanctions Violations, Tax Monitoring.
- Understanding of CDD, Screening, IIE, and Transaction Monitoring processes.
- Familiar with the processes, technology, and data landscape in Financial Crime within a banking context.
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging up to C-Suite level.
To collaborate with stakeholders and leverage data and MI to identify opportunities for process optimization and capacity building in relevant business areas.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness using data-driven insights.
- Participate in projects aimed at performance improvement and efficiency optimization.
- Create reports and presentations on performance metrics and improvement initiatives for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and collaborate on recommendations for process improvements.
- Implement analytics and reporting to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Identify operational capacity enhancements through data analysis and MI.
- Manage a business function, contribute to strategic initiatives, and influence policy and procedures.
- Lead a large team or act as a technical expert, guiding less experienced colleagues and influencing strategic decisions.
- Advise senior management and committees, manage resources, budgets, and policies.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, monitor external environment influences, and demonstrate industry expertise.
- Use advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Act as a principal contact and spokesperson for the function and division.
