Private Client / Probate Solicitor - East Belfast

Overview

An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Private Client / Probate Solicitor to join its busy and well-established Private Client team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in probate, wills and estate administration who is looking to develop their career within a supportive firm offering a varied and interesting caseload.

The role will be primarily based in the firm's East Belfast office, with some flexibility to work from a second office when required. Hybrid working is also available.

The firm would ideally like to appoint on a full-time basis, although part-time working arrangements will also be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Probate and estate administration
• Drafting wills and advising on estate planning
• Enduring Powers of Attorney
• Advising clients on a range of private client matters
• Managing files from initial instruction through to completion
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Providing clear, practical and sensitive advice, particularly when assisting clients through bereavement and estate administration

Essential Skills and Experience

• Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland
• Ideally 2-5 years' PQE, although candidates outside this range with relevant experience will also be considered
• Previous experience in probate, wills and/or private client work
• Northern Ireland private client experience is preferred
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work with a good degree of autonomy
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Private Client law
• Professional, approachable and empathetic manner
