We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced High Net Worth (HNW) Loss Adjuster to join our Private Clients & Estates team to cover London/South/Lower Midlands region and surrounding area.

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Regional Executive Manager, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of HNW and Agriculture/Estate property claims from investigation to settlement, ensuring company standards are met in relation to all technical and operational policies and procedures, SLAs, including data protection and information security.

Key Accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • The investigation, negotiation and settlement of HNW & Agriculture/Estate property claims in a professional manner
  • Proactive liaison with all stakeholders, including the insured, insurers and brokers to achieve professional and timely conclusion of claims
  • The production of quality reports and other means of communication, in compliance with our professional standards and internal guidelines in accordance with agreed timescales
  • Active participation in McLarens' business development programme, building individual reputation and raising the Company profile
  • Ad hoc needs to attend other areas in the UK for claims in a time of surge
  • Ad hoc presentations and client events
  • Adherence to compliance ie regular modules & complaint responses/resolution & timelines
  • Accurate data input to claims system
  • Network, identify and facilitate opportunities for business growth
  • Undertaking projects and other ad hoc work as required
Experience and Qualifications

Successful candidates must be professionally qualified and have gained significant experience in the High Net Worth loss adjusting sector, demonstrating a focus on quality, communication and organisational skills. They will have proven capability in negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving, coupled with strong stakeholder management. An ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally is imperative. A proven, positive reputation in the Broker and Insurer market would be advantageous.

Due to the geographic coverage of this role travel will be required.
