Description

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
  • Provide expert tax planning advice, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Prepare and review complex personal tax returns.
  • Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities for clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries promptly and professionally.
  • Support and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations affecting private clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive client services.

Profile

A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:

  • A recognised qualification in tax, such as ATT or CTA.
  • Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation and compliance processes.
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of private clients.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to identifying tax planning opportunities.
  • Experience in Trusts, Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains tax.
