Private Client Tax Director - Staverton

Are you a private client tax specialist with a passion for rural affairs and high-net-worth clients? A rare and rewarding opportunity has opened up at a highly respected regional firm, offering the chance to help lead a specialist Private Client team focused on agricultural, estates, and high-value personal tax planning.

Working from beautiful offices in the Gloucestershire countryside, you'll be part of a thriving team known for its deep expertise in advising farming families, landowners, and rural enterprises. This is a hands-on leadership role with plenty of variety, offering the opportunity to work closely with Partners on complex advisory projects across CGT, IHT, succession planning, and trust work.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing a portfolio of clients including farming partnerships, sole traders, and HNWIs

Leading advisory projects covering capital taxes, inheritance planning, and family wealth structuring

Working closely with the Farms & Estates accounts team to provide a joined-up client experience

Mentoring and developing junior tax professionals and acting as a role model across the team

Playing an active role in business development and growing client relationships

What You'll Bring:

CTA and ACA/ACCA qualified

Strong grounding in private client tax, ideally with experience in rural or agricultural sectors

An interest in capital taxes, trusts, and succession planning

Excellent communication and leadership skills
