Our client is one of the UK's top 10 fastest-growing accountancy firms. They are seeking an Associate Director to strengthen their market-leading Private Client Tax team. Led by an ex-Big 4 Partner, the team offers high-profile, ambitious practice with genuine influence over strategy and client direction.

Your new role

As Associate Director, you will take ownership of a portfolio of high-value clients-entrepreneurs, HNWIs, and complex family estates-delivering exceptional advisory work and shaping long-term relationships. You will drive business development, mentor senior team members, and collaborate with partners to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service
• Deliver complex private client tax planning and advisory projects
• Drive new business opportunities and convert leads into profitable engagements
• Oversee and mentor senior staff, conducting annual development reviews
• Support strategic firm-wide initiatives and contribute to business direction
• Ensure compliance with all internal risk and governance frameworks

Qualifications

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualification
• Significant private client tax experience within a professional practice
• Proven track record in delivering high-level tax advisory work
• Strong business development and networking skills
• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team
