Private Client Lawyer

My client are seeking to recruit a motivated, ambitious, and excellent Private Client Lawyer to join our Legal 500 ranked and award-winning team. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic team, providing legal services on a range of private client matters.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide legal advice in all aspects of private client law including simple and complex wills, lifetime tax planning, administration of estates, powers of attorney, elderly client matters, and court of protection.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures, Lexcel and ISO standards.
• Maintain billing levels in accordance with agreed targets.
• Utilise great IT skills to effectively use case management systems and software.
• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships through outstanding client care.
• Actively seek new business opportunities and contribute to the development of the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Sound knowledge and extensive experience in private client law.
• Highly organised and familiar with regulatory compliance procedures.
• Genuine interest in private client work.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clearly, straightforwardly, and accurately.
• Great IT skills, with proficiency in using case management systems and software.
• People-friendly, team-oriented, and reliable, with a strong understanding of the importance of client relationships and client care.
• Proactive and keen on business development and team growth.
