We're working with a respected 5 Partner law firm based in the heart of Reading, proudly serving clients across the Thames Valley for over 30 years. Known for its friendly culture and client first approach, the firm continues to grow - and its thriving Private Client Department is now looking for an experienced Solicitor to take on a key leadership role.

About the Role:

You'll play a pivotal role in managing and mentoring a skilled team while handling a high quality caseload of private client matters. You'll work closely with families and individuals, advising on:

• Complex and straightforward Will drafting, including IPDI, Discretionary and Disabled Person Trusts
• Estate administration, including intestate estates and related tax matters (IHT, CGT, income tax)
• Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications
• Elderly client issues, capacity concerns and tax planning
• Trust creation and Trust administration
• Working collaboratively with accountants, IFAs and care agencies to deliver holistic solutions

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years PQE in Private Client Law
• Confident handling complex matters independently
• A strong understanding of tax planning and trust law
• Proven team leadership or supervisory experience
• STEP membership (or working towards) is highly desirable
• A warm, professional manner and client focused attitude
