The Role

The firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE to join its highly regarded Birmingham team. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload and work closely with senior lawyers on more complex matters, including those with cross-border elements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, and estate administration
  • Advising on inheritance tax and estate planning matters
  • Assisting with the administration of high-value and complex estates
  • Supporting senior team members on international and cross-border work
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development and networking initiatives

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years' PQE in private client work
  • Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, and estate planning
  • Experience or exposure to high-net-worth clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and meet deadlines
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach
