Private Client Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive

Bristol

Full-Time Hybrid Working

A highly regarded and growing South West law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (3+ years' PQE) to join its established Bristol office.

This is a strategic hire due to sustained growth within the Private Client team. The firm has ambitious plans and a clear investment strategy in this area, making this an excellent time to join.

The Role

You will manage a varied and quality caseload, including:

  • Wills and estate planning
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Estate administration
  • Tax planning
  • Court of Protection matters
  • You will be trusted to run your own files with appropriate autonomy, while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive team structure.

This is a visible role within the department, offering genuine scope to contribute to business development and further strengthen the firm's Private Client presence in Bristol.

About You

You will:

  • Be a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in Private Client
  • Have experience managing a broad caseload independently
  • Demonstrate strong client relationship skills and commercial awareness
  • Show consistent fee-earning performance
  • Be comfortable engaging in networking and business development activities
  • Ideally be STEP qualified or working towards it (not essential - support available)
  • This opportunity would suit someone seeking progression, greater responsibility, or a more forward-thinking and collegiate environment.
The Firm

The firm is known for its strong regional reputation, modern working practices, and commitment to long-term career development. It offers the structure and quality of work you would expect from a well-established practice, combined with a supportive and approachable culture.

Importantly, progression is based on contribution and capability, not simply tenure.

What's on Offer
  • Hybrid working
  • Enhanced annual leave
  • Pension scheme
  • Funded professional development and memberships
  • Clear progression framework
  • Modern offices in Bristol
  • A collaborative and ambitious team environment
