Job Description
PRIVATE CLIENT SENIOR ASSOCIATE, BIRMINGHAM, NATIONAL LAW FIRM, HYBRID WORKING - An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded and expanding team at a leading national law firm. Working with a prestigious HNW and UHNW client base, you will handle complex wealth planning, succession and estate administration matters. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior position within a growing practice and play an important role in its continued development. Contact Penny Trotman on for more information.
THE ROLE:
A leading national law firm is looking to recruit a Senior Associate to join its expanding Private Client team in Birmingham or Manchester. You will advise high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, business owners and family offices on a broad range of sophisticated private client matters.
Your responsibilities will include advising on complex wills, trusts, succession and estate planning, inheritance tax planning and wealth preservation. You will also handle high-value estate administrations, lasting powers of attorney, lifetime planning arrangements and Court of Protection matters.
Working alongside an established team of specialists, you will have considerable client contact, develop relationships with professional intermediaries and contribute to business development initiatives. You will also play a key role in supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought from experienced Private Client Solicitors with a strong background in advising HNW and UHNW individuals and families. You will have excellent technical expertise across wills, trusts, estate administration, succession planning and inheritance tax, together with experience handling complex estates involving business, agricultural, investment and property assets.
You will be commercially aware, confident in managing client relationships and capable of delivering strategic advice on sophisticated wealth planning matters. Previous experience supervising and developing junior fee earners is desirable. STEP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
THE FIRM:
This leading global law firm has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to an impressive client base. Its expanding Private Client practice offers exposure to complex and high-value work, alongside experienced specialists and genuine opportunities to influence the continued growth and development of the team.
THE PACKAGE:
A competitive salary and benefits package is available, together with flexible hybrid working. The successful candidate can be based in Birmingham.
