A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Privacy Officer to play a key role in maintaining and strengthening a growing Privacy Information System within a large, exciting and reputable organisation. The Opportunity

You will support the delivery of data protection initiatives, ensure compliance with UK and international privacy laws, and become a trusted advisor to teams across the business. This is the perfect next step for someone who enjoys combining detailed operational work with broader stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and enhance privacy governance, policies, and documentation
• Conduct DPIAs, LIAs and TRAs, ensuring risks are managed effectively
• Support data incident investigations and escalate issues when needed
• Keep ROPAs updated in line with GDPR Article 30
• Act as the privacy lead for allocated divisions and major projects
• Assist with SARs, FOI requests, and other data subject rights
• Contribute to DP awareness campaigns and mandatory training
• Help optimise privacy management software and workflows

What You'll Bring

Essential:

• Strong understanding of UK/EU and global privacy laws
• Experience in privacy programmes or DP projects
• Confident stakeholder communication and documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Desirable:

• Experience in large or matrix organisations
• Exposure to data breach investigation
• Professional privacy certification - CIPP/E or similar certification
