Your role: Principal Waste Water Process EngineerIn this role, you'll play a vital part in process engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects both domestically and internationally.
We specialize in all aspects of process engineering within the water industry, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, with opportunities spanning the UK and abroad, and sectors like nuclear. We provide industry-leading solutions from feasibility through to process commissioning, adding value with client-side support. Currently, we have opportunities in our Belfast office.
Your responsibilities:- Lead a team in technical design work adhering to relevant standards and quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with UK and international teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Ensure design work complies with quality assurance standards.
- Chartered Chemical/Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
- Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
- Fundamental understanding of integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment processes.
- Design and operational experience of main process unit operations: primary, secondary, tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour, and energy management.
- Experience with process safety techniques (HAZOP, DSEAR), cost assessments, whole-life carbon assessments, and UK environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of process modeling software such as BioWin and SUMO.
