This expert methodologist will: Play a strong role in shaping the statistical design of the next Census Have deep expertise in household survey sample design and statistical modelling Facilitate long-term benefits for our customers and stakeholders Actively scan for opportunities to apply methodologies (particularly new methodologies) to real-world problems such as targeted solutions for priority communities Be a critical voice for end-to-end methodology cohesion Provide coaching and mentoring to methodologists Bring a Māori perspective to statistical methodology and their workThis role requires someone with a strong customer focus, comfortable with ambiguity and change, and sound decision-making ability. You will have statistical consultancy experiences commensurate with your role, practical experience in Official Statistics and ideally you will have international experience in this field.
