Principal Software Engineer (AI Focus)

Location: Galway (Hybrid, 1 week p/m onsite)
Duration: 12 Months initially
Rate: €480 per day

We're looking for a senior engineer with hands-on experience in modern AI tools who can clearly articulate their impact. This role focuses on using cutting-edge AI technologies to transform how software is built. You'll work in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment that values experimentation, open source, and continuous learning.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in at least two languages (eg, Python, Node.js, Go)
• Solid engineering practices (TDD, CI/CD, code reviews)
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for AI services
• Experience with multi-agent workflows and context engineering
• Understanding of LLM behavior and context management
• Familiarity with MCP Servers and AI tool integrations
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, evolving AI landscape
• Strong focus on experimentation and prototyping

Bonus

• Prompt evaluation and red-teaming
• Experience with frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
