We're looking for a Principal MEP Planner to support both pre-construction and live delivery stages across major infrastructure projects in Bristol, Gloucester, and Somerset.

What will the role look like?
  • The role is responsible for programming, planning, monitoring, reporting, feedback, and mitigation measures for the services elements of the projects.
  • Lead MEP planning activities across PCSA and delivery phases.
  • Provide leadership for planning and coordination processes and implement and maintain the requirements of the Project Business Plan.
  • Ensure all programmes comply with project requirements and develop a logical sequence of events, adopting the most economical construction strategy.
  • Analyze performance, advise the project team of likely impacts, and recommend improvements.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
  • MEP planning specialists with strong digital skills, including modelling, 4D planning, and proficiency in Asta or P6, preferably both.
  • Experience in pre-construction work-winning processes, producing bid programmes, and associated time-related information as part of a tender bid team.
  • Experience on major projects is ideal, but we also welcome applications from those who have led planning on smaller projects and implemented robust project controls.
  • A good understanding of MEP techniques and ideally a HNC/Degree in an MEP-related field.
  • Project planning experience and knowledge of strategic planning and project/program management systems.
  • Ability to analyze, collate, and utilize data for reporting and forecasting.
