We are seeking a strategic Principal Enterprise Architect to provide high-level direction and guidance for our overall architectural approach. This senior leadership role involves shaping our technology vision and ensuring it supports the organization's long-term objectives. A key aspect will be promoting the strategic use of our architecture modelling platform for informed decision-making.

Job responsibilities

• Define and communicate the broad enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and principles, aligning them with business goals.
• Identify and recommend new technologies and architectural approaches that can benefit the organization.
• Establish and guide enterprise-wide architecture governance frameworks and processes.
• Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders to influence strategic technology decisions and ensure alignment.
• Identify and address potential architectural risks to ensure the stability and security of our technology environment.
• Stay informed about industry trends in enterprise architecture and promote their consideration.
• Drive the strategic use of our architecture modelling platform for broad architectural insights and strategic planning.
• Mentor and develop other architects within the team.
• Guide the evolution of the enterprise architecture roadmap to reflect strategic priorities.
• Lead strategic interactions with key technology vendors.

Job qualifications Technical Skills

• Extensive and deep expertise in enterprise architecture, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful architectural strategies at an organizational level.
• Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling architectural vision and gain buy-in from senior stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business strategy into effective technology architecture.
• Deep understanding of various architectural frameworks, methodologies, and patterns, with the ability to select and apply them appropriately.

Professional Skills

• Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build effective working relationships at all levels.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex architectural concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and their application to enterprise architecture.
• Occasional travel to the office few times per month is needed.
