Join a large public sector organisation as a Principal Enterprise Architect and play a pivotal role in shaping strategic technological advancements. This position offers the opportunity to lead on ensuring that the strategy for your domain is built, agreed upon, and followed, influencing significant decisions and budgets.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical design and strategic decisions within the enterprise architecture domain (data architecture)A.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders, actively seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Utilize best practices, emerging technologies, and approaches to lead and inspire architects towards meeting organizational goals.
• Conduct horizon scanning for external influences or risks and support the successful delivery of long-term strategies.
• Ensure that services are delivered consistently and efficiently through the application of recognized industry architectural principles and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A broad IT background with significant experience in an architectural role.
• Proficiency in using modelling tools and documenting as-is and to-be processes.
• Experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• A technical degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Membership in a professional body such as the British Computer Society or being a Chartered IT Professional (CITP).
