Our client is a growing environmental consultancy delivering specialist ecological and environmental services across the UK. With a strong team of environmental professionals, the company works across terrestrial ecology, freshwater, marine ecology, GIS and habitat management, providing varied projects and opportunities for career development.

We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Ecologist to join the team in Norwich. The Principal Ecologist will take a senior leadership role in managing and delivering a diverse range of ecological projects, providing technical advice to clients, overseeing surveys and reports, and supporting business development. The role will also involve mentoring junior colleagues, managing client relationships and contributing to tenders and project proposals.

Qualifications

• Relevant ecology/environmental degree or equivalent experience
• Significant experience within ecological consultancy
• Strong project management and technical report-writing experience
• Experience providing ecological advice to clients
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
• Full right to work in the UK
• Be living in or within a commutable distance of Norwich
• Strong communication and leadership skills
