Job Description

This is not a standard consulting leadership role.

This position owns and builds the Information Governance practice within Oyster IMS. It combines full commercial accountability with hands on leadership across client delivery, solution design, and team development.

This is a well established practice within Oyster IMS and as the leader you will define how the practice evolves operates, how it scales, and how it is positioned in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Practice Growth & Commercial Ownership

  • Build and scale a profitable consulting practice
  • Own pipeline, revenue, and margin performance
  • Convert client demand into structured, repeatable services
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
  • Shape long term client programmes, not one off projects
  • Challenge, guide, and influence at executive level
  • Turn complex client problems into clear, deliverable solutions
  • Own solution quality, structure, and commercial viability
  • Ensure delivery is outcome led, not over engineered

Delivery & Operating Model

  • Define how Oyster delivers consistently and at scale
  • Build playbooks, standards, and reusable approaches
  • Remove inefficiency and inconsistency across delivery

Team & Capability

  • Build a high performing, commercially aware team
  • Develop capability depth without creating silos
  • Set clear expectations and drive accountability
