Overview of role

Become part of a well-established and growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementation

Machine control system software design, development & commissioning

Individual contributor role - expert in programming of automated machines

A great opportunity to work on the design of high-tech engineering applications

Main Tasks
  • Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision
  • Develop, test, commission & support machine control software
  • Support our Technical Writer in creating validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc)
  • Specification of control system components
  • Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle
  • Provide technical direction & support to other controls team members
Experience
  • 10yrs+ of experience in Equipment Automation - PLC & HMI experience essential, preferably with Allen Bradley
  • Expert knowledge of automated machine design, specification & development
  • Proven experience with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics etc.
