Principal AI Consultant

esynergy are seeking a Principal AI Consultant to help define and deliver our AI strategy, strengthening our capabilities across software engineering, data, cloud platforms via AI-enabled solutions. This is a senior, T-shaped leadership role combining strategic oversight with hands-on commercial impact. You will be a credible, client-facing leader who can command a room, shape complex RFP and pre-sales engagements, and translate business challenges into practical, high-impact technology solutions. Working closely with delivery, engineering and commercial teams, you will help position esynergy as a trusted partner for AI, digital and technology transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and champion a clear vision for AI, aligning modern engineering, data, and cloud capabilities with evolving client and market needs.

• Lead and contribute to complex RFP and pre-sales engagements, shaping compelling propositions and translating client challenges into differentiated solutions.

• Oversee the successful delivery of strategic technology programmes, ensuring outcomes drive measurable business value and long-term client impact.

• Act as a senior ambassador for esynergy - building executive-level relationships, unlocking new opportunities and strengthening our reputation in the market.

• Foster a high-performing community encouraging shared learning and continuous capability development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in senior digital, technology or transformation leadership roles, with breadth across software, data, cloud and AI.

• Strong track record in RFP, bid and pre-sales environments, with the commercial acumen to shape winning propositions.

• Experience in both business development and delivery of complex AI/ML projects.

• Ability to design and build AI products, platforms and reusable accelerators in support of the esynergy AI Practice proposition.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the presence and credibility to influence senior executives and diverse technical audiences.

• A pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset, with a strong understanding of governance, risk and responsible technology adoption
