Primary Teaching Assistant - Aylesbury, BuckinghamshireSupport pupils. Build confidence. Make a measurable difference in the classroom. Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a committed Primary Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils individually, in small groups and within the classroom.
• Assisting teachers with the delivery of planned learning activities.
• Providing additional support with phonics, reading, writing, maths and other curriculum areas.
• Helping pupils develop independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours.
• Supporting children who require additional educational or pastoral assistance.
• Monitoring pupil engagement and providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Helping maintain a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils during break, lunch and wider school activities where required.

What we're looking for

• Has previous experience working with primary-aged children.
• Understands the role of a teaching assistant within a classroom environment.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Is patient, reliable and consistent in their approach.
• Can follow teacher direction while also showing initiative when supporting pupils.
• Holds or is willing to obtain the appropriate safeguarding and DBS clearances.
