You do not need to be a specialist SEN teacher-the school is keen to hear from confident mainstream teachers in Hounslow who are passionate about inclusive education and are eager to develop their SEN experience. The Role As a Primary Teacher in Hounslow, you will: Teach a small class within the school's well-established ASD Provision. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. Support pupils with Autism and additional needs to achieve both academically and socially. Work alongside experienced Teaching Assistants, the SENCO and the wider inclusion team. Create a calm, positive and nurturing learning environment. Play an active role within the wider Hounslow school community. The Ideal Candidate The successful Primary Teacher will have: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching within a UK primary school. A passion for inclusive education. The ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs. Previous SEN or Autism experience is desirable but not essential. A positive, patient and resilient approach to teaching. ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
