Year 2 Teacher - Southwark

Location: Southwark, South East London

Position: Year 2 Teacher

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Pay: £180-£230 per day

Start: ASAP

Remedy Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Southwark on a full-time basis.

The successful teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment where pupils can develop academically and socially.

The Role:

• Planning and delivering engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progressDifferentiating lessons to support a range of abilities and additional needs
• Preparing pupils for the transition into KS2
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of staff
• Maintaining strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleaguesRequirements:

Requirements:

• QTS is essential
• Previous Primary/KS1 teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management
• A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain oneThis is a great opportunity for a Year 2 Teacher looking for a full-time position within a supportive Southwark primary school.
