Engage Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Hackney from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to inspire young learners and make a lasting impact within a nurturing school community.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons, promoting high standards of achievement, and creating an inclusive environment where every child can flourish.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that inspire pupils and promote a love of learning.
  • Teach the National Curriculum across your allocated year group (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform future planning.
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school events.
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and professional practice.
We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A creative, enthusiastic, and reflective approach to teaching.
  • A commitment to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
