PPA Teacher (KS1 & KS2)

• Pay: £150 - £200 per day (based on experience)

About the Role

We need a confident, adaptable PPA Teacher to cover KS1 and KS2 classes across Birmingham primary schools. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, giving full-time teachers their scheduled planning time. This role offers the variety of teaching without the burden of weekend planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Pre-Planned Lessons: Step into KS1/KS2 classrooms and teach the provided plans effectively.

• Classroom Management: Maintain high behavior standards using the school's specific policies.

• Adaptability: Confidently switch between different year groups and subjects throughout the week.

• Handovers & Marking: Mark the day's work and leave clear notes for the returning class teacher.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential (ECTs welcome).

• Curriculum Knowledge: Comfortable teaching across the National Curriculum (KS1 and KS2).

• DBS: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
