The School is a highly regarded special school in Lewisham, supporting pupils aged 3-11 with a range of complex learning needs, including autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and communication needs. We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our committed team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about working within a specialist setting and making a meaningful difference to children with special educational needs.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, personalised learning experiences
  • Support pupils with a wide range of complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and families
  • Contribute to EHCP outcomes and pupil progress monitoring
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience (or a strong interest) in SEND, particularly autism and complex needs
  • A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners
