Job Title: Primary School Teacher

Location: Barking & Dagenham

Salary: M3 - M6

Start Date: September (possibly sooner)

Contract: Full time & Permanent

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching across KS1 and/or KS2, depending on your experience and preference. You will have the opportunity to work in schools that value creativity, strong behaviour standards, and engaging, purposeful learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school when required
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • A proven track record of effective teaching within a primary setting
  • Creative, adaptable, and passionate about education
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver consistently high quality teaching practice
