Job Description
Primary School Sports Coach in Surrey/Hampshire - Multi-Sports Coaching Provider £26-30k (dependent on experience and qualifications) Location: Surrey/Hampshire, covering Farnham, Godalming, Fleet, Farnborough and Camberley Start date: September 2026. Early expressions of interest are welcome!

Our client is a leading multi-sports training and coaching company with a genuine passion for making sure children enjoy PE and school sport. They deliver PE & School Sport, After-School sport and wraparound care, Holiday Camps, and evening Football Development sessions across Hampshire and Surrey, and they're looking for an experienced Sports Coach to lead sessions across a range of schools throughout the week

This is a role with real scope beyond the coaching itself. Alongside delivering sessions, you'll get genuine opportunities to pick up new skills in marketing, customer service, business development and management, with a clear route to grow as the organisation does. There's no traditional head office to report into either, so there's a real element of flexibility and home working built in when you're not out at a venue

On offer is £26-30k depending on experience and qualifications, an industry-leading benefits package, and a genuinely person-focused employer that invests in your development beyond coaching

Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, with occasional evening work paid at an increased hourly rate Key responsibilities:
  • Session delivery: Plan, lead, deliver and review all sessions in line with company standards
  • Customer service: Provide excellent customer service to parents, children and other stakeholders
  • Quality and safety: Ensure all children receive a high quality and fun sporting experience
  • Team development: Support the recruitment, training and management of part-time Sports Coaches
  • Business growth: Support senior management with the growth and development of the organisation through external stakeholder engagement
About you:
  • Experience: At least two years working in a similar role
  • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for sport and physical activity and for developing others
  • Organisation: Excellent time management and punctuality
  • Communication: Good communication and customer service skills
  • Travel: A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport
What's in it for you:
  • Genuine opportunities to develop skills beyond coaching, including marketing, business development and management
  • Flexibility to work from home when you're not out delivering sessions
  • An industry-leading benefits package from a genuinely person-focused employer
