This is a long-term, full-time position ideal for an experienced caretaker or site supervisor who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented school environment.School Caretaker - The RoleAs School Caretaker, you will play a key role in the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school site. Your responsibilities will include: Opening and closing the school premises daily Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks Ensuring the building and grounds are safe, clean, and secure Conducting regular health and safety checks Managing site security, including alarms and key holding Liaising with contractors and overseeing site-related works Supporting with room setups for school events and activitiesSchool Caretaker - The Ideal CandidateTo be considered for this role, you should have: Previous caretaking, site supervisor, or facilities experience (school experience desirable) Basic maintenance and DIY skills A strong understanding of health and safety procedures Good organisational and time-management skills A flexible and dependable approach An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)School Caretaker - Why Work with Aspire People?
