Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £95 - 110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Leeds who are looking to appoint a Primary HLTA. The school provides a welcoming and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking for a confident Primary HLTA to provide day-to-day cover with an Immediate Start. The successful Primary HLTA will support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2, assisting with learning activities, leading groups and providing classroom cover where required.

The successful Primary HLTA will have:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant qualification
• Experience working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience supporting teaching and learning within a primary school
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
