Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the LS6 area of Leeds to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to begin their teaching career within a supportive environment that values professional development, collaboration, and pupil achievement.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
  • Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated teaching team.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Holds or is due to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Is completing or has recently completed their ECT induction.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and behaviour management skills.
  • Has a passion for improving outcomes for all learners.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
